Most people are probably familiar with Tokyo psych/rock trio Yura Yura Teikoku from their heavy appearance on PSF's TOKYO FLASHBACK 2, but there's a whole lot more to them than straight-ahead riff pummelling as this batch of now-out-of-print vinyl from the group makes more than clear. ZUKKU NI ROCK is an early 10" 45rpm EP from 1998/99 produced and recorded by You Ishihara of White Heaven/Stars at Soichiro Nakamura of White Heaven's legendary Peace Music studio and sees the group at an early hard glam/new wave/Rallizes-style peak.
