NAKAHARA MASAYA was in the legendary noise band VIOLENT ONSEN GEISHA and currently performs as HAIR STYLISTICS. His stories read like the written equivalent to his music - absurd, violent, nonsensical, etc. But Nakahara's no joke - he's already received one of Japan's most prestigious literary awards. Lyricist for NAGISA YOKO and friend of YURA YURA TEIKOKU, Nakahara's close to the Mesh-Key family. Please check out the story (and accompanying interview). 02/15/06 Listen to YURA YURA TEIKOKU's WFMU performance here. 02/07/06 YURA YURA TEIKOKU's new full-length CD "Sweet Spot" is now available in the SHOP. 01/04/06 HAPPY NEW YEAR.
